What are cell-based hair approaches?
Follicle micrografts, cell suspensions and fat-derived fractions are different approaches. Products marketed as stem cell treatments cannot be assumed equivalent, and these methods differ from hair transplantation.

Areas of research
Different cellular products are being studied in patterned hair loss. Small samples, processing differences and limited follow-up prevent generalising findings across products or diagnoses. Scarring disease requires control first; regeneration of absent follicles cannot be promised.
Individual assessment
Goals, alternatives, medical history, tissue-harvest site and risks are reviewed. Infection, bleeding risk, uncontrolled illness and pregnancy require specific assessment; age alone does not determine suitability.
Process, risks and authorisation
Harvesting can cause pain, bruising, bleeding or contour changes; administration can cause infection or other reactions. Processing, sterility and applicable Turkish authorisations must be verified. Autologous origin does not eliminate risk.
Frequently asked questions
Is SVF purified stem cells?
No. It is a mixed cell fraction.
Is it risk-free because it is my tissue?
No. Harvesting, processing and administration each carry risks.
